Rare antique Staffordshire Willow Pattern meat platter complete with drainer dish Majolica total diameter approxThis rare find is from the 19th century and is a large (2 part) early piece of Staffordshire ironstone Blue Willow Pattern transfer ware. The platter has drainage grooves in base that lead to a reservoir at one end to collect the juices. The drainer dish has a central drainage point plus smaller drainage holes all over. Both are in the traditional Willow Pattern design. A fabulous antique to be used at every opportunity whether you are roasting meat
